GP Social Share
If you use GeneratePress, GP Social Share is a simple and lightweight plugin to add social share icons to posts. These are the social channels currently supported by the plugin: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Email.
I don’t recommend using complicated plugins to add social share icons as it might slow down your site or cause conflicts. A simple one like GP Social Share is more than enough to get things done.
Content Aware Sidebars
Content Aware Sidebars is a WordPress plugin that allows you to create page specific sidebars that replace or merge with the default theme sidebars.
With this plugin, you can add as many custom sidebars and widget areas you want, and display them on as many different conditions you want. It only takes a few clicks in the user friendly sidebar manager.
Limit Login Attempts Reloaded
Hackers and bots work around-the-clock to invade and infect your WordPress website. By default, people can continuously try to log into your site, with no restrictions on attempts.
Limit Login Attempts Reloaded is a must-have plugin to protect your website from malicious attacks targeting your login page. It allows you to enter the number of logins you want visitors to have. Once that number is exceeded, their IP address will be banned for a customizable amount of time.
WP Advanced Ads
When you run a blog, you have a lot of ways to make money. But one of the most tried-and-tested methods is displaying ads on your site.
WP Advanced Ads is a WordPress plugin for managing multiple Ad networks as well as AdSense ads with ease. You can also use it to manage your own ads, either affiliate offers or direct ad sales.

GenerateBlocks Pro
Although Elementor is a powerful page builder, it will create more bloat and unnecessary code to your website. That results in slower site speed.
If site speed is your number one concern and you want a super-fast WordPress blog, GenerateBlocks Pro is a better choice. GenerateBlocks Pro is developed by the same developers of GeneratePress. It’s built mainly focusing on performance.
GenerateBlocks Pro works efficiently with the Gutenberg block editor. It only adds one CSS file per page, there is no inline CSS code or there is no use of JavaScript. The HTML generated by the plugin is minimal which makes GenerateBlocks Pro lightweight and super fast.

Site Speed Optimisation
Site speed is so important. It affects everything from user experience to Google rankings and conversion rates. Poorly performing sites that render slowly in a browser can drive users away. Conversely, sites that load quickly will typically receive more traffic and have better conversion rates. Good user experience also leads to better ranking on Google.
WP Rocket
When it comes to caching plugins, I recommend WP Rocket. WP Rocket is a plugin that enables caching on WordPress websites with the goal of speeding up the websites with minimal effort.
In addition to caching, WP Rocket has some other features such as compressing HTML, JavaScript and CSS files,Image lazy load etc. All these can speed up websites with no technical knowledge and very little effort required.
Simply activate WP Rocket on your site, and you should start seeing improved loading times.
However, if your website is hosted on Wealthy Affiliate, you may not need WP Rocket as Wealthy Affiliate has the in-built caching tool, SiteSpeed. If you decide to use WP Rocket for more control or customisation, make sure you turn off SiteSpeed to avoid conflicts.
ShortPixel
Image file sizes can be fairly large, and all that data adds up quickly. Consequently, your site can slow down as you add media to it – which is detrimental to attracting and retaining visitors. The solution is image optimization.
ShortPixel is an easy to use, lightweight, install-and-forget-about-it image optimization plugin that can compress all your past images and PDF documents with a single click. Since the compression occurs remotely, it won’t overload your servers.
If you host lots of images on your site, using Short Pixel is a no-brainer. Compared to other image compressing plugins for WordPress, Short Pixel contains more features to help you decrease the file size of your images and increase your site’s loading speed.
Plugin Organizer
Apart from WordPress hosting, plugins are the second biggest reason that slow down your WordPress site. This can be mitigated by using Plugin Organizer.
Depending on the plugins that you’re using, there may be some that you only need on specific pages, posts, or post types. Plugin Organizer allows you to selectively enable or disable plugins based on URL, user roles, post types. Basically, it gives you the ability to fine-tune your website performance.
WP-Sweep
WP-Sweep is a free plugin that doesn’t require any technical skills and most basic WordPress users can clean & optimize their blog database in a few minutes.
With WP-Sweep, you can clean up post revisions, duplicate meta-data, spam & comments in trash, transient options, unused terms and auto-drafts.
To avoid bloating your database and slowing down your WordPress site, you’re recommended to install WP-Sweep and start cleaning your WordPress database.
Site Protection & Security
Due to WordPress popularity, many hackers are keen on hacking the WordPress website. According to research, malicious hackers attack WordPress websites with over 90,000 attacks per minute.
Security is of utmost importance to every website owner. Corrupted websites are blacklisted by Google, and Web Hosts shut down websites infected with malware. Therefore every WordPress site must have some sort of security hardening and service protecting it.

This means that all resource intensive operations, such as malware scanning, are not done on your site. So the performance of your WordPress site is not affected by the malware scanning process or security protection.
